Apiaceae

This list of genera was made in July 2025 according to World Flora Online, Plants of the World Online, Stevens 2001 onwards (APWeb), Cai et al. 2022, Calviño et al. 2007, Degtjareva et al. 2018, Doğru–Koca (2016), Doğru-Koca et al. 2020, Esser et al. 2006, Feist et al. 2017, Feng et al, 2009, Fernández Prieto et al. 2018, González-Toral et al. 2024, Koch et al. 2017, Lee et al. 1999, Liu et al. 2024, Lyskov et al. 2017, 2022, Mansfield et al. 2017, Nicolas et al. 2009, Ostroumova et al. 2016, Piwczyński et al. 2015, Puchałka et al. 2023, Spalik et al. 2004, 2019, Sun et 2004, Valiejo-Roman et al. 2006, Yu et al. 2011, Zakharova et al. 2012, 2021, and Zhou et al. 2008, 2023. This list includes only genera present in our herbaria: M and MSB.

As our phylogenetic understanding of Apiaceae, particularly subf. Apioideae, is far from perfect (Stevens, P. F. 2001 onwards), and clearly requires very dense intrageneric sampling, the generic classification used here will be subject to change, more so than in most other families.
